The Harper Woods Police Department is committed to excellence in law enforcement and dedicated to the preservation of life and property.  The officers of the Department are held to the highest standards of loyalty, integrity and honesty.  The primary responsibilities of the Police Department are prevention of crime, protection of life and property, suppression of criminal activity, apprehension and prosecution of offenders and the preservation of peace.  Our officers are trained to place a high emphasis on service and we respond to all calls for service with pride in our rapid response capabilities.

The Police Desk is open to the public on a 24 hour basis.  Our 33 full time sworn police officers appreciate the opportunity to work with you in making Harper Woods a safe community to live, work and visit.
